Upfront Gallery will host an interactive “Cirques du Yoga” workshop on Saturday, April 17, 2010, from 2:00-4:00 p.m., at the gallery, located at 267 S Laurel Street, Ventura, CA 93001. The workshop will be given by facilitators Lynne Okun and Carrie McAuliffe. The event coincides with the City of San Buenaventura’s Annual Spring Artwalk.

Based on principals of Yogic Awareness as a tool for connecting with oneself, Cirques du Yoga extends beyond the mat! Combining partner yoga, basic acrobatics, thai massage and playful circus skills inspires connecting with self and others--building confidence, flexibility, strength, collaboration and celebration! The workshop is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
